The Rev. Matthew Boulter, Assistant Rector for Evangelism
Fr Matt and Bouquet moved to Tyler with daughters Bella, and Eleanor, from beautiful Austin, where Matt and Bouquet met and graduated from the University of Texas. An avid gardener, Bouquet has planted over 25 varieties of rose bushes in her backyard!
A former Presbyterian minister and church planter, Matt was ordained priest in the Diocese of Texas in May of 2010. In addition to playing with his girls on his days off, Matt enjoys good books, fresh pipe tobacco, substantial beverages, and long runs in solitude (not necessarily in that order!).
As a priest, Matt is especially interested in the connection between liturgical, sacramental worship and Christian contemplation, the nature and character of Holy Scripture, the role of community in the Christian life, and reaching a "post-everything" generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Rev. Kevin Wittmayer, Assisting Priest
After twenty-six years of ministry in parish settings I am excited to be at All Saints Episcopal School and Christ Episcopal Church.
I grew up in Iowa and went to college in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After an eight year career in banking I went to seminary in Alexandria, Virginia and was ordained in 1991. After a three year curacy my wife and I started a church with ten people in our living room. The church was located in a bedroom community of Oklahoma City. I have served as the rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Longview for the past fourteen years. My wife is the Chief Financial Officer for Trinity School of Texas in Longview. I have two daughters and three grandchildren.
In the summer of 2012, while on sabbatical, I walked 500 miles across northern Spain on the Camino de Santiago Compostela. Pilgrimage is a significant part of my spiritual life and this trip was one of the top highlights of my life. I have made Christian pilgrimages to the following destinations; Jerusalem, Rome, Canterbury and Mt. Athos (the spiritual center of Eastern Orthodoxy). I hope to walk a path of Celtic Christian pilgrimage in the near future walking from Iona, Scotland to Holy Isle in Lindisfarne, England.

David Beadle, Director of Student Ministries.
Cajun by birth, David moved to Texas in 2004 but didn’t make it to Tyler until 2013. Having served the church throughout the majority of his life, David brings several years of various Student Ministry experience and leadership to Christ Church as our Director of Student Ministries.
As a college minister, David led a thriving campus ministry and focused on leadership development as well as teaching, worship training, and evangelism. As a professional youth minister, David was tasked with rebirthing a youth ministry from scratch and forming it into a thriving community. Though becoming a confirmed Episcopalian was quite the ‘twist’ in David and Brittany’s story, David holds a firm conviction that, in our current cultural moment, the worship of the historic and Catholic Church is what the world needs most.
David insists that the best thing about him is his wonderful wife, Brittany. Married since 2015, Brittany is a lover of coffee, plants, cute animals, over-seas missions, world traveling, and hiking through national forests. David’s interests are theology and philosophy books, playing music, and pick-up-basketball.
David is currently pursuing a B. A. in English and a minor in Philosophy and Religious Studies as a student at the University of Texas at Tyler. When not at work or home, he can be found at the Foundry Coffee Shop sipping a cappuccino and reading a good book.
Melanie Edwards, Assistant Director of Student Minstries
Melanie and her husband Trey have lived in Tyler for many years and through their different work organizations and commitments, they have also been heavily involved in events throughout the Tyler community. They have a son, Carter, who was the original reason for their first step into Christ Church. Since 2007, Melanie has been a trainer, life coach, and as of December 2014, the owner of East Texas Adventure Boot Camp. Melanie holds certifications in Personal Training, Group Instruction, and Sports Nutrition and Coaching. Her personal strategy in her business comes from a background education in Psychology and she likes to give a unique spin on approaching fitness and health goals from the inside out. She believes her purpose and passion is driven from her own personal trials at a young age in life and says that there has always been a part of her heart saved for the youth of our community. Because of the struggles at a young age and her openness in sharing her testimony, she creates an ability to understand and relate to the pain that is experienced in overcoming obstacles. She has been successful in using her experience to help others overcome the obstacles in their lives and feels blessed to be able to know that God is using her story to make light out of darkness!
